World Blanket Day 2010
The world is haltingly recovering from the harshest economic crisis since the Great Depression. Millions of jobs have been lost. We are falling behind in our efforts to contain global warming and achieve the Millennium Goals. At such a time, everyone - especially the poor - can do with an additional "blanket" of warmth.
In this grim backdrop, MAD Club announces World Blanket Day on December 9, 2010.
